Steven Coghlin passed away on Tuesday, October 25, after a courageous battle with cancer. His final days were spent surrounded by his loving wife of 34 years, Kimberly and his caring son, Brandon, whom he loved so very much. Steve will be missed by his sister Barb and Dwayne Dietrich, mother Lorraine Bristowe, stepfather Dennis Bristowe, and his children Bonnie and Scott Vesterfelt and Jennifer McNulty. He will be remembered by sisters-in-law Wendy and Jim Anderson, Joan and Brad Smith, brother-in-law Paul and Sara Lobsinger, his dear aunt Bev and Gary White, and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Steve was predeceased by his beloved father Ross Ellwood Coghlin, son George Steven Coghlin, grandmother Velma Bowman and his mother-in-law Joyce Chessell, who loved him like a son. Friends and relatives are invited to a celebration of Steve’s life from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, at Knights of Columbus Hall, Walkerton. A service with a time of reflection will be held at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment in Avondale Cemetery, Stratford.
