Howard Clarke, of RR 3, Dashwood, peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Saturday, October 8, at age 88. Beloved husband of Agnes Jean Clarke. Loved Daddy and father-in-law of Marlene and Dave Mitton and Vicky Clarke. Cherished papa of Levi Lane, Shawn Lane and Chene’, Steven Lane and Vanessa and David Mitton. Loved great-papa Howard, Mylee, Diane and Harrison. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ruth and Bob Galloway, Shirley Clarke, Marlene Valender, Keith and Ruth Young. Remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Margaret “Maggie” Clarke and his in-laws Gordon and Idris Young, sisters Evelyn Hutchinson and Art, Lillian “Sis” McCann and Joe, Marie Dinney and Don, brothers Jim, Roy and Marg, Russell and Audrey, Ross and Donna Clarke and chosen brother Edward Valender. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with Visitation on Tuesday, October 11, from 5 to 9 p.m. and where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 12, at 11 am.
