John Burnside of Walkerton passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton, at the age of 88. He will be dearly missed by his wife Rosalyn of 63 years. John will be remembered by his sisters-in-law Helen Burnside, Harriet Goetz, Lia Buck, nephews Vincent and Anne Goetz, Mark Schumacher, Dan Schumacher, Jeff and Rhonda Schumacher, and niece Lou Anne Goetz Baker and Lonnie. John is predeceased by his brother Wilbert, brothers-in-law Matthew Schumacher, Allan Goetz, and his parents John and Margaret Burnside. Friends and relatives are invited for visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton. Cremation has taken place and interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
