Betty Vock-Cowell, 89, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Mitchell Nursing Home on Wednesday, September 21. Beloved wife of the late Carl Vock and Cecil Cowell. Dear mother of Douglas Vock and Helen, Joyce Westman and Dennis, June Faust and Ken, Wanda Swanson and Mark, and Bill Vock. Lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Shirley Zimmer. Dear sister-in-law of Vera, Anne and Margaret Kemp, Erma McLean and Shirley Aver. Also surviving are her many nieces, nephews and the Cowell family. Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell on Sunday, September 25, from 2-5 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to attend the visitation are asked to schedule a time online at LockhartFuneralHome.com or by calling the funeral home. Scheduling is not required to attend the funeral service. Interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery.
