Gerald Smith, peacefully on Sunday, September 11th, at Braemar Nursing Home, Gerald Smith passed away at the age of 92, one month before his 93rd birthday. Devoted husband of Ruth Smith. Loving dad of Rick & Faye Smith of Kitchener Shari & Kevin Good of Wingham. Cherished grandpa of Jamie Good, Tanya & Bryce Toll and Danielle & Nick Campbell. Special great-grandpa of Julie and Kylie Good, Avery and Sadie Toll and Lenyx and Korlee Campbell. Predeceased by his parents Charles Smith and Georgina & Archibald MacDonald, sister Gloria Lockridge and Douglas, grandson Paul Jonah and brothers-in-law Fred Stokes and Dorothy, and Don Stokes and Jane. Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday, September 14th from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Wingham Cemetery.
