Joanne Mill, of Wingham, peacefully at McCormick Home in London on Saturday, September 17, passed away at the age of 83. Devoted wife of the late Alan Mill who predeceased her in 2009. Loving mom of Brian & Heather Mill, and Andrea Mill. Cherished grandma of Brian Gibson and Rhys Paterson, Drew Gibson and Connor Mill and furry granddaughter Molly. Sister of Dan & Donna Pearce, and Elaine Wright. Sister-in-law of John DeWetter. Predeceased by her parents Edwin & Ada Pearce, parents-in-law Chester & Annie Mill, sisters-in-law Vicky & Heino Feldbusch and Mary DeWetter and brother-in-law The Honourable John Wright. A private burial will take place on Saturday, October 1st, at the Wingham Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Joanne’s Life at the Wingham Golf & Curling Club from 1:00-4:00 p.m. with words of remembrance being shared at 1:30 p.m. Online condolences at www.mcburneyfuneralhome.com.
