Dr. Roger George Eickmeier, 80, of Mitchell passed away with his family at his side on September 5. Beloved husband of Marie Eickmeier for 53 years. Father of Kurt Eickmeier and Dwight Eickmeier and Katie Inman. Loving grandfather of Emerson, Amelia, and Maximus. Brother of Gary Eickmeier and Susan Andrus. Brother-in-law of Jim and Brenda Nicholson, Geraldine Nicholson, John and Audrey Nicholson, Donna Crinklaw, Barbara and Kirk Patterson. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Milton and Rita Eickmeier, stepfather Charles Woodra, parents-in-law John and Clestia Nicholson, brothers-in-law Walter Nicholson and Steve Crinklaw. Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell on Friday, September 9, from 4-8 p.m. Those wishing to attend the visitation are asked to schedule a time at LockhartFuneralHome.com or by calling the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dublin on Saturday at 11:00 a.m, scheduling is not required. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre.
