John Sluis of Palmerston passed away at Palmerston & District Hospital on Wednesday, August 17, in his 75th year. Husband of Ana Sluis. Father of Mary Sluis & Buddy Washington of Cambridge, Wanda & Ben Fokkelman of the Netherlands, and Jarno Sluis of Mount Forest. Opa of Faye, Mylo, Caleb, and Nolan. Also survived by 3 sisters in the Netherlands. Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Clifford Community Church on Monday, August 22, at 11:00 a.m. with reception to follow.
