Russell Litt, of Hanover and Ivanhoe Lake passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife and family on Saturday, August 6, at the age 88 after a three -year battle with lung cancer. Born to the late Carl and Mary Litt. Beloved husband of Shirley of Hanover. Father of Garry Litt and Jennifer. Special grandfather of Linda, Kelly and André, Lori-Anne, Amanda and Nathan, Austin and great grandfather of many beautiful great grandchildren. Survived by his brother Gordon Litt and Judy, and his sister Ruthann Noble. Predeceased by his daughter, Sharon Litt and Pete Maloney, daughter in-law Cathy Litt, sisters Betty Stemler and Lois McGinn. A Memorial Inurnment Service will be held at the Hanover Cemetery – Columbarium on Thursday, August 18, at 11am. There will also be a Celebration of Life at his homestead Red Pine Lodge, Ivanhoe Lake Rd, Foleyet, on Sunday, August 21, from 2 –4pm. All are welcome.
