James “Jim” Whytock, formerly of Teeswater and Culross Township, on Thursday, at age 86. Beloved husband of Joan Whytock. Lovingly remembered by his children, Ken Whytock and Suzanne Craig-Whytock, Karen Whytock and Rick Jones, and Bruce Whytock and Carla D’Alessio. Special Poppa to Kate Whytock, Celeste Whytock, Sara Valvasori, Rachel Valvasori, and Mya Valvasori. Survived by his sisters Myrtle Reid and Muriel and Clair Everitt. Also survived by in-laws, Lloyd Lamont, Everett and Lenora Lamont, Francis Lamont, Larry and Carol Lamont and Bryan and Norine Lamont, several nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbours. Predeceased by his parents, brother Rae, son-in-law Lonzo Lucas, and in-laws John Reid, Shirley Lamont, Ron and Anne Lamont, and Brenda Lamont. Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service to honour Jim’s life will be held at Teeswater United Church on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.
