Doris “Betty” Whitney, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, July 23, at her residence Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton. Betty passed away just 8 short days before her 98th birthday. Cherished mother of Ross Whitney and Marion Kane, Wayne Whitney and Joanne, Laurie Willits and Alan and Sherry Whitney and Jeff McIntyre. Devoted grandmother of 11. Very proud great grandmother of 7 great-grandchildren. Betty is survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will take place at St. Pauls United Church, Milverton, today from 1:00 until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, where Betty will be laid to rest with her beloved Milburn.
