Donald Shannon of Hanover, and formerly of Listowel, passed away at Hanover Hospital on Sunday, July 10, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Linda. Father of Matthew and Rhonda Shannon of Owen Sound, Coranna Horton of Listowel, and Drew Shannon of Cambridge. Proud grandfather of Kayden, Lucas, Jacob and Jayve Horton, and Grady and Rylan Shannon. Brother of Robert and Nancy Shannon, and Anna and Reinhold Schmidt, and brother-in-law of Harvey and Margaret Wallace, and Bruce and Peggy Wallace. Predeceased by his parents Wilmer & Annabelle Shannon, brother Howard, and parents-in-law A.W. & Ethel Wallace. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Friday, July 15, from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. A private family funeral service will follow.
