Edward Schmidt, of Walkerton passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 30, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Hannah. Loving father of Melissa and Brad Murison and cherished grandfather of Lauren Waters. Dear brother of Marylou Cox, Robert and Winnie, and Martha Monk, and brother-in-law of Les Binkley. Ed will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews as well as members of the Collison family. Ed was predeceased by his siblings Irene and Herb Bohnert, Rita and Wally Scott, John and Delores Schmidt, Elaine and Bruce King and Eleanor Binkley. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8, at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
