Rodger Renton, of Hanover and formerly of Durham, passed away at the Hanover and District Hospital on Monday, July 4th, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary Lee Renton. Loving father of Christine and Keith Pollock, Joanne and Christopher McElroy, Darin Renton and Keri Johnston, and Daniel Renton. Remebered by 7 grandchildren. Dear brother of Robert Renton and Eileen, William Renton and Gertie, and Douglas Renton and Gisela. Brother-in-law of Neil Lyons, Audrey Renton, and Marie Renton. Predeceased by his siblings Anna Robinson and the late Howard, Eleanor Lyons, George Renton, Jim Renton, and Emilie Mooney. Visitation will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Friday, July 8th from 5 – 8 p.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Durham on Saturday at 11 a.m. If you wish to attend the funeral mass, we kindly ask that you register by visiting the death notice on the Funeral Home website or by calling.
