Poechman, John (Age 93)

John Poechman passed away peacefully on July 19, at the Hanover & District Hospital after a brief period of illness. John was 93 years old. Born to the late Alex and Christina Poechman. John is survived by his long-time best friend Barb Arnold, sister Reta Poechman, brother Alfred Poechman and Marilyn Bennett, sister Ruth Jackson, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Marie McLaughlin and Ed, brother Ralph Poechman and Phyllis, sister Eileen Flaman and Bob, sister Anne Van Eyk and Frank, brother-in-law Earl Jackson, sister Louise Hafermehl and Harvey. A visitation will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church, Carlsruhe, on Friday, July 22, from 10 – 10:45 am, followed by the funeral mass at 11am. Interment in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Carlsruhe.
