Audrey Johnston of Bluevale, peacefully and surrounded by family at Stratford General Hospital on Thursday, July 21, passed away at the age of 78. Devoted wife of Murray Johnston. Adored mom of Valerie & Mike Watson, Debbie & Jason Kerley, Bruce & Dawn Johnston, and Ian & Laura Johnston. Cherished grandma of 17 and great-grandma of 8. Sister of Dave & Rosemary Wheeler and sister-in-law of Shirley Nicholson and Bessie Johnston. Audrey will be deeply missed by her large extended family. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 27th, at the Wingham Knights of Columbus Centre at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Wingham Cemetery. Following the ceremony and burial, a celebration of Audrey’s life will be held at Ian & Laura Johnston’s home 41301 Cardiff Rd., Brussels, food will be provided but please bring your own lawn chair and refreshments. The funeral will be live-streamed and a link available on the website.
