Ethel Darroch of Listowel passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, July 6, in her 88th year. Wife of the late Harold Darroch. Mother of Sandra & Doug Boertien of Listowel, and the late Bryan Darroch. Grandmother of Avery Boertien & Todd Mann, Phil & Laura Boertien, Scott & Cassie Boertien, and Ben Bigam, all of Listowel, and great-grandmother of Baz, Brielle, Taylor, and Bo. Predeceased by her sisters Jean & Norm Bell, Alice & Harold Ott, Gladys & Harry Bell, Florence Mason, and Marie Simpson, and brothers Don & Florence Simpson, Neil Simpson, Ken Simpson, and Archie Simpson. Visitation will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel on Friday, July 8, from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live-streamed, and the link available on the funeral home website.
