Garth Cunningham, age 81, of Goderich passed away peacefully at the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital on July 6. Born to the late Vere and Ethel Cunningham. Beloved husband for 56 years of Ruth Anne. Father of Jenny Ayliffe and Angela Colbourne. Grandpa and Papa to Emma, Sophia, Olivia, Ewen and Kyla. Brother of Bert and Anne. Brother-in-law of Patrick Wigzell, Michael Wigzell and Riet, Mary Ellen Leonard, Lynn Swan, Dale Wigzell. Also survived by sister-in-law Lois Cunningham and Eunice Cunningham, brother-in-law Con VanVliet and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Joyce, Ham, Lorne, June Bradley and Lloyd, Laverne, Ford, Lois VanVliet, Doris Pitblado and Dave. A graveside service will be held at Colborne Cemetery, Goderich on August 16, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a reception at Saint George’s Anglican Church. www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com.
