Ron McMichael of Wroxeter passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 5, at the age of 92 years at his home at Nine Mile Villa, Lucknow, surrounded by his family. Husband of Ethel McMichael. Father of Janice & Gary Ballagh, Karen & Morris Schmalz, Judith & Steve Gaunt, and Rhonda & Doug McArter. Grandfather of 13 Brother-in-law of Lloyd Lamont, and Jacquie Ries. Predeceased by his parents Annie & Harvey McMichael, sister Shirley Lamont, brother Glenn McMichael & Phyllis, and brothers-in-law Williard Ries, and Harold Mullens & Thelma. Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Masonic Memorial Service at 4:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live streamed, and the link is available on the funeral home website.
