James ”Jim” MacTavish of Kincardine passed away on June 26, at Kincardine Hospital at the age of 82. He was the beloved husband of Marjorie for 62 years. He was born to his late parents Clara and James MacTavish. Dear father of Jeff & Valerie of Kincardine and Michele & Bob Hunter of Port Elgin. Missed by his grandchildren Shannon & Martin, Erin & Carl, Lauren & Andrew, Nicole & Liam, and James. Great Grandpa of Ian. Survived by his sister Peg Thuell, brother-in-law Eugene Walden, and sister-in-law Evylene MacTavish. Predeceased by his son Jamie, brother Allan MacTavish and sisters Marion Lowry and Evelyn Walden. Visitation will be held at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley Wednesday from 2:00 – 5:00 PM with Legion Service at 1:30 and Lions Service at 5:00 PM. Funeral service conducted on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Interment at the Ripley Cemetery.
