John Claus of Listowel passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 27, in his 66th year. Husband of the late Pauline Claus. Father to Laura Claus & Jack Hancock, and Janie Claus & Dan Larson, and grandfather to Evelyn and Raven. Brother of Heinze & Henrietta Claus, Teena Meinema, Whinny Micallef & friend Ed, Grace Claus, Sylvia Claus, and Gerald & Carrie Claus. Son-in-law of Pete & Louise Shaw, and brother-in-law of Cathie & Wayne Schalk, and Donna & Tim Tremblay. Predeceased by his parents John Sr. & Teena Claus, brother Raymond Claus, sister Jessie Wesselink, and brothers-in-law Roger Micallef, and Clarence Meinema. Private family services will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Thursday, June 30, with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
