Gordon Hulley of Goderich, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 28, at the Alexandra Marine General Hospital, Goderich surrounded by his loving family. He was in his 85th year. He was married to his beloved wife Elsie for 55 years. Loved by his daughters; Bev Lecomte, Betty and Paul Popp, Sandra and Steve Popp, and sons; John “Hoob” and Kim Hulley and Norm and Melyni Hulley. Gordon was a wonderful Grandpa to 12. Great Grandpa to 9. Survived by his siblings Lawrence and Joan, Warren and Sharon, Gladys Haldenby, sister in law Nancy and brother in law Joe Essex. Gordon was predeceased by his wife Elsie, parents Margaret and Jack Hulley, daughter Donna, brothers Robert and Norman, sister Polly, infant sister Mary, brother in laws Doug Haldenby, Don Shinkle, Garth Blanchard, Don Hunking, and sister in law Myrna Hunking, mother in law Lola Atkinson, and father in law Clarence Essex. At his request there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Goderich on Wednesday June 8, from 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm. Internment Colborne Cemetery.
