Bernice Mahood of Moorefield passed away peacefully at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Wednesday in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Earle Mahood. Loving mother of Laverne and Lynda Mahood and Gary and Ann Mahood. Grandmother of 5. Great grandmother of 10. Great Great grandmother of 2. Sister of Ron Denny and sister-in-law of Barb Denny. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Alvin and Nora Denny, sisters Jean and her husband Bill McClennan and Betty Denny, brothers Eldon Denny, Wylmer Denny and his wife Doreen, William Denny and Leonard Denny. To honour Bernice’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Friday, April 8, from 1:00 p.m. to time of service at 2:00 p.m.
