Ruth Ward, formerly of Monkton, passed away peacefully at Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell on Monday March 14 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Jack Ward. Mother of Barry and Angela, Bob and Val, Kathy and Keith Pehlke. Special grandma of Leanne, Trish, Kevin, Dylan, Kylie, Kristy, Katelyn, Kelly and 13 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her sisters and brothers Eldeen Ward, Shirley Wagler, Marg Searth, George, Mary VanStaveren, Elwood, Harold, Barb Knapp, Edna White, Sharon Otterbein, Donna Oliver. Predeceased by her parents Ed and Laura Raycraft, four brothers and great-granddaughter Sophie Blum in infancy. A private family funeral service will be held at Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood.
