Millie Leader of Wingham, at her home on Sunday, March 6th, passed away at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Donald Leader. Cherished mom of Donna Thacker, Dianne & Wayne Johnston, Brian & Laurrie Leader and Ed & Adrianna Leader. Dear mother-in-law of Elizabeth Leader. Loving grandma of eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of George Adams, Cherie Farrish and Helen Farrish. Millie will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Elmer & Hilda Farrish, son Rick Leader, four brothers, two sisters, one granddaughter and one grandson both in infancy. A private memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 9th, at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham at 2:00 p.m. A live-stream of the funeral will be available on our website so you can join us from your home.
