Madeline Bernice Gowan of Owen Sound and formerly of Allenford and Tara, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Victoria Hospital in London, on Friday, March 18, in her 94th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Donald Gowan. Loving mother of Lynn Packer and Rick, Ken Gowan and Heather, Murray Gowan and Delores, Steve Gowan and Kathy, Bernie Gowan and Bev, and Donelda Gowan and Bryan Leverick. Cherished grandmother of 21 and great-grandmother of 24. Predeceased by her parents John and Mabel Crawford, grandson Kyle and great-granddaughter Emma. Survived by sisters-in- law Muriel Gowan, Sadie Fenton, Anna Farrow and Gord and brother-in-law Ross Herron. Visitation for Bernice Gowan will be held at Brian E. Wood funeral Home, Owen Sound, on Thursday, March 24, from 6 to 9 pm, with funeral on Friday, March 25, at 11 am. As per the Family’s wishes, Masks are required to attend.
