Bertha Evans, of Palmerston passed away peacefully at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Friday, March 11, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Evans. Loving mother of their only son Percival who passed away as the result of an accident in 1976. She was the daughter of the late Oswald and Edna Cooper and was the last surviving member of her eight siblings which consisted of four sisters, Nora Vardy, Hazel Cherry, Greta Rock and Barbara Campbell and four brothers James, Carl, Dellman and Arnold Cooper. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Tuesday, March 15, from 1:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m.
