Evelyn MacQuarrie, a long-time resident of Mount Forest, passed away at Strathcona Long Term Care on Tuesday, February 22, at the age of 97. Evelyn is survived by her children and their spouses: Donna and Glen Krueger, Annabelle and Mike Kelly, Norman and Veronika MacQuarrie and daughter-in-law Dora; sister-in-law Anna Marie Atchison, nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews. Evelyn will be missed by her many friends, in and around Mount Forest and deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family. She was predeceased by her husband, of over 48 years, Donald; their three children: William, Neil, and Margaret; grandson Johnathan, and great-granddaughter Evelyn Grace; her five brothers: Harold, Lawrence, Jack, Mervyn and Robert Atchison; and their parents William and Margaret; and her beloved in-laws. A private graveside service will be held at Mount Forest Cemetery at a later date.
