Nick Schiestel, of R. R. #2 Wingham, on Monday, at age 83. Beloved husband of Alice. Loving father of Sherry and Jamie Kennedy, Laurie and Kevin Miller, Wendy and Chris Zinn, and Rob Anderson and Cheryl Webster. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Nicole, Jenna and Brady, Cole, Logan, Ryan, Justin and Alivia. Dear brother of Anne Schwehr, Fred and Darlene Schiestel, Charlie Schiestel, Gertie Eckenswiller, George and Marilyn Schiestel, Ike Schiestel, Pete and Jayne Schiestel and Cindy and Doug Wyatt. Fondly remembered by Allen funk, several in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and Neighbours. Predeceased by his daughter Lisa Anderson, parents Fred Sr. and Gertrude Schiestel, and brother Tom Schiestel. Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Teeswater on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Anyone wishing to attend the visitation and Funeral Mass must register using the links found on Nick’s webpage or by calling the funeral home. Everyone attending the visitation and Funeral Mass must wear a mask and respect physical distancing protocols.
