John “Al” Macdonald, age 85, formerly of Bruce Township on December 22. Loving husband of the late Eleanor. Dedicated father to Michelle Smibert and Scott, and Karen MacDonald. Proud grandfather of Tavish, Alex and Collin. Al is survived by his sister Helen Burnside of Kincardine; brother in law Joe Lamont and sisters-in-law Lynn Lamont and Joan Lamont. Predeceased by brother in law Wib Burnside. A private family graveside service has already taken place. A celebration of Al’s life will be held at a future date.
