Frederick Helwig, of Neustadt, passed away at SBGHC – Durham Hospital, on Tuesday, December 21. He was 72. Born to the late Howard and Ruth Helwig. Survived by devoted wife Lynda Helwig of Neustadt. Loving father of Rina Helwig and Kevin Teeter of London, and Erin Helwig of Elmira. Special Grandpa of Emmersen, Harrison, and Andersen. Fondly remembered by siblings Susan and Gerry of Toronto, Murray and Debra of Walkerton, Paul of Neustadt, Sarah of Quebec City, and Stephen of Calgary, and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents. Cremation has taken place, and a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
