Evelyn Hackett, formerly of Lucknow, beloved wife and best friend of the late D.A. “David” for 66 years passed away, December 19, at age 88 years. Proud mother of Joan & Terry Hays, Lori & Gary Melitzer, Paul & Ellen Hackett. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Richard Hays, Dennis & Amber Hays, Sara & Josh Pond, Amie & Michael Gray, Alyssa & Shane Burke, Dylan Hackett and 4 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents
Alex & Lavina Leaver, sister Jean Walker and Doris Leaver in infancy, brothers-in-law George, Alvin, Howard, sister-in-law, Barb and grandson Alexander Hackett. Survived by sister-in-law Zita Hackett. A private family funeral service will be held from the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow.
