Lois Gilliland of Listowel passed away at Royal Terrace, Palmerston on Tuesday, December 21, in her 83rd year. Wife of the late Lorne Gilliland. Special friend of Harold Coulter. Mother of Mike Gilliland & Raili McIvor, and Patti-Lynn & Paul Atkinson. Grandmother of Courtney and Carley, and great-grandmother of 3. Sister of Pat & Cliff Reading, and Linda Espensen. Sister-in-law of Don & Marlene Gilliland, Barb & Rob Wilson, and Kathy & Gordon Moore, and remembered also by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her special friend Bill Brears. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Thursday, December 23, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend must RSVP on the funeral home website, or by calling. Everyone attending must wear a mask, and the family requests that you be vaccinated to attend. A private family service will be held on Friday, December 24, with interment in Palmerston Cemetery.
