Walter Demerling of R.R.3, Mildmay passed away on Friday, December 10, in his 88th year. Husband of E. Fay Demerling. Father of Nancy and Randy Seip, and Andrew and Adrienne Demerling, and father-in-law of Mary Demerling. Grandfather of Andrew and Brittany Keith, Jonathan and Susan Seip, Elizabeth and Justin Howatt, Josh Demerling, and Jeremy Demerling, and great-grandfather of 8. Brother of Jim and June Demerling, Audrey Tozer, and Bill and Bev Demerling. Predeceased by his son David Demerling, sister Greta Harkness and her husband Bob, and by his brother-in-law Bob Tozer. Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Clifford on Wednesday, December 15, at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Howick Township.
