Shirley Ackert of Kincardine, on Tuesday in her 88th year. Beloved spouse of Clarence Ackert. Loving mother of Catherine and Gordon, Nancy and John, Bob and Brenda, and Betty Ann and Dave. Very proud grandma of 8 grand and 20 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her great-granddaughter Ava. Fondly remembered by her sister Ruth Ann and John Mitchell, sister in-law Marjorie and Bob Ubukata and brother in-law Ron and Pearl Ackert. Shirley touched the lives of many and will be missed by family and friends. Private family service will be held at the Davey Linklater Funeral Home. A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held at a later date.
