Edgar Phillips of Teeswater, at London Health Sciences Centre on Monday, October 11, passed away at the age of 94 years. Beloved husband of Brenda Phillips. Loving father of Julian & Corinne Phillips, and Amanda & Dave Dodgshon, and step-father of Jane Anne & Jason Ireland, and Lysa & Jamie Capen. Brother of Brian Phillips, Marion Jeffery and the late Doris Badman. Edgar will be lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his step-children Suzanne O’Leary, Roma Poirier, and David Poirier. Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday, October 20, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. You do not have to register for visitation, but masks must be worn and social distancing observed. A private funeral service and Legion memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live-streamed, and a link on our website.
