Harry Van Moorsel, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a most courageous battle with cancer. He was in his 84th year and was the beloved husband of Helen, with whom he celebrated their 62 years of marriage. They lovingly raised their three children, Brent and Lorna, Pamela and Dean, and Darryl and Kate. Harry will be greatly missed by his 11 grandchildren, and his 2 great-grandchildren. Harry will be fondly remembered by his many siblings. He was predeceased by his parents John & “Nellie” Van Moorsel, infant son Brent James. Family and friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell on Wednesday, August 4th, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Those wishing to attend the visitation must register online at LockhartFuneralHome.com or by phone. All coming must have a scheduled time and wear a mask. Please enter the funeral home at the exact time your time slot begins. A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Kinkora. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
