Jean Hooey, of Durham, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Tuesday, August 10th, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Bob Hooey. Loving mother of Brenda and Fred Doherty, Catherine and Jack Small, Carol and Bob Truax, Brian Hooey and Karen, and Peter Hooey and Kim. Cherished grandmother of 7. Fondly remembered by her 17 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings Eunice Bluhm, Mary Duggan, Charlie Atkinson, Florence Miske, Harold Atkinson, Helen Miske, and Don Atkinson. Friends may call at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Friday, August 13th from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.. Due to Covid-19 protocols masks are required and social distancing must be respected on Funeral Home property. We encourage you to book a visitation time by either calling the Funeral Home or by visiting the death notice on the Funeral Home website and click “make a reservation” to confirm your attendance. A private funeral service will be held. Friends and extended family are welcome to view the service via livestream on Friday at 1 p.m. by visiting the home page of McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home website or the Facebook page. The live stream will begin at service time and the video will remain posted for viewing afterwards. Interment at Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
