Lois Chamney, of Wingham and formerly Belgrave, at Braemar on Sunday, August 8th, passed away at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Stuart Chamney who predeceased her in 2017. Cherished mom of Diane Bridge, Donna & Jim Muir, Barb & Kevin Pletch, Joyce Bloschinsky, and Steve & Joan Chamney. Loving grandma of fourteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Bud Chamney. Predeceased by her parents William & Edna Webster, son-in-law Warren Bridge, siblings Jean & Cliff Henderson and George & Greta Webster and Stuart’s siblings Elwyn, Herman and Graham Chamney and Verna Doerr. Visitation will take place at McBurney Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 11, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend must schedule a time through the website. A private funeral service for immediate family only will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, August 12 at 11:00 a.m. A live-stream is available on the website. The public is welcome to join the family at the graveside in Belgrave or the Knights of Columbus Hall in Wingham for a time of refreshments and socializing.
