Tom Blackmore, fondly known as TCat, of Listowel, passed away at Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Saturday, July 31, in his 91st year. Tom is survived by his children, David and Shelley Blackmore, and Mark Blackmore and Jody Davey, his 7 grandchildren, and his 4 great-grandchildren. He was loved and will be missed by his Frisby cousins who were like siblings, Betty Murray and James Elliott and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret, his parents Ina and Glen Blackmore, his parents-in-law Marie and George Hamilton, his sister-in-law Donna Dickson, his brothers-in-law Tom Daley and Doug Dickson, his nephew Shawn Daley, and his cousin Sue Charlton. A private family funeral will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Thursday, August 5th, at 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be live-streamed and the link available on the funeral home website.
The public interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel, on Wednesday, August 11th at 10:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend with social distancing in place. Online condolences may be left at www.eatonfuneralhome.ca
