Carl Wathke of Hanover, formerly of Dobbinton, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, with his wife by his side, on Wednesday, July 21. He was 86. Beloved husband of Gwendolyn. Loving father of Carol and her husband Bill Kuhl, Kathy and her husband Tom Kuhl and Margot Wathke. Cherished grandfather of Mark, Matthew, Sarah, Rachel, Nicholas, Christian and Nathan and great-grandfather of Georgia Leigh and Ethan Alexander. Carl will be dearly missed by his brothers George and Maxine, Maurice and Lois Ann and sister-in-law Lloye Wathke. He was predeceased by his brothers Harry, Wallace, Stewart and his parents Enoch and Sadie Wathke. A public visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Sunday, July 25, from 6 – 8 p.m. A graveside funeral service and committal will be held at Faith Lutheran Cemetery, Desboro on Monday, July 26, beginning at 11 a.m. All are welcome. www.rhodyfamily.com
