William “Bill” Karcher, peacefully, at the Southampton Care Centre on Tuesday, July 20, in his 82 nd year. Bill, beloved husband of Mairi. His legacy includes his beloved children Lori, Heather and Marcel de Vos, Patricia, Chris and Rachel, and Steven. Proud Poppy to Ashley, Mairi Katherine, Callum, Logan, Alisha, Conor, Colin, Arie, Lucas, Liam and his great grandchildren Lyle, Rosalie, and Evangeline. Dear brother of Wilma McArthur, Diane and Ron Gottschalk, and Ed. Bill will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Proud Boilermaker of Local 128. He will be fondly remembered by his boilermaker family. Predeceased by his parents Stewart and Stella Karcher, brother-in-law Robert A. McArthur and sister-in-law Shirley Karcher. Friends will be received on Sunday, July 25, from 2-4pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, Port Elgin. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 26, at 1:00pm at Starkvale Cemetery.
