Shirley Howes of Harriston passed away on Sunday, May 2, in her 94th year. Shirley was the loving wife of the late David Howes. Mother of Rosanne Caron and Adir Gupta, Paul Howes and Linda Saur, and James Howes. Grandmother of David Caron and Janice Chan, Austin Howes and Benjamin Howes. Sadly missed by sisters-in-law Lois Geil and Betty Howes. Predeceased by her sons Philip Howes, and Norman Howes and wife Ann Tangney-Howes, brothers Ralph Geil and Emerson Geil, sisters Mildred Caldwell and husband George, and Doris Zurbrigg and husband Frank, and by her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law John Howes, and Cyril and Janet Hassan. A private family funeral service will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Friday, May 14, at 1:30 p.m. The service will be live-streamed for family and friends and the link available on the funeral home website.
