Rosie Gatecliffe of Hamilton, at her home on May 4 th, in her 89 th year. Beloved wife of Orville Gatecliffe who predeceased her in 1987. Missed by her daughters, Brenda Cooper, Debi Ferguson and Heather Gatecliffe, grandchildren, Danielle, Jesse, Brian, Jodi, Faith and 7 great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by sisters Eleanor Curran, Judy and Ray Fischer and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Gary in 1996, parents Gus and Annie McGlynn, brothers Pat, Tom, Jerry, Dennis, Robert and D’Arcy McGlynn. Born in Wingham on June 8th, 1931, Rosie went to school on the 2nd of Culross, continued her education at F.E. Madill, and began her teaching career at Mount St. Louis in 1949. Rosie lived for her family and was always inspired to learn. Announcement placed by Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater.
