Myrtle Demerling passed away quietly at her home in Clifford on Sunday, May 23, at the age of 69. Wife of the late Brian Demerling. Mother of Vicki Manto and husband Roger, and Deborah Campbell and husband Douglas. Grandmother of Samantha and Nathan Hill, Nicole Manto and friend Kyle Lonsdale, and Michael Manto, and great-grandmother of Cassandra Hill. Sister of Mary Becker, and sister-in-law of Jack and Shirley Murray, and Jean and Dale Ersman. Predeceased by her parents Norman and Lillie Koehler, sister Jean Murray, brother Gerald Koehler, and by her brother-in-law Allan Becker. Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, today from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and again at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clifford, on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitors must schedule a time to attend on the funeral home website, or by calling. Everyone attending must wear a mask. A private family funeral service will be held at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clifford on Wednesday, May 26, at 1:30 p.m. The service will be live-streamed and we ask you to watch safely from home.
