Gerald D’Arcey of Fordwich passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday, May 3, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Connie D’Arcey who predeceased him on April 26. Loving father of Bonnie and Brian Cowan, Gail D’Arcey, Patty and John Mock, and Julie Arnott and Chris. Proud poppa of 9. Brother-in-law of Florence D’Arcey, Elaine D’Arcey, Bette and Bruce Campbell, and John Leppington. Gerald was predeceased by his brothers Carl D’Arcey and Barry D’Arcey, his parents Ernie and Frieda D’Arcey, his parents-in-law Jack and Helen Leppington, sister-in-law Karen Leppington, and by his infant son. A private visitation for family and friends will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A private family funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 7th at 1:30 p.m. The service will be live-streamed and we ask you to watch safely from home.
