Ethel McQueen, peacefully and surrounded by her family at home on Monday, April 12th, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Peter McQueen. Cherished mother of Sharon and José Fernandez, Joyce and Kevin Dinneen, and Mark and Norva McQueen. Dear grandmother of 5. Ethel will be lovingly remembered by her 4 great-grandsons. Survived by her siblings: Anne MacDougall, Audrey Dowling and John and Wilma Irvin as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Richard and Marjorie Irvin and Charlie and Marie Irvin, brothers-in-law Peter MacDougall and Martin Dowling, as well as her brothers and sisters-in-law in the McQueen Family. Visitation will be held at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest, on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. In order to attend the visitation, you must contact the funeral home to register by email at [email protected] or calling. Please note: as per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, attendance numbers will be restricted, masks are mandatory and COVID-19 protocols are in place. A private funeral service will be held on Monday, April 19th, at 11:00 a.m. with interment at Woodland Cemetery.
