Earl Brears of Walkerton, went to be with his Lord and Saviour, on Friday, February 19, at Hanover & District Hospital, at the age of 83. Loved by his children Paul and Janice Brears, and Carman Brears, and Sean Brears. Earl will be fondly remembered by his siblings Betty Fischer, Joan and Gerry Stockie, Jean Bignell, and Morley Brears. Predeceased by his beloved wife ‘Beth’ Brears after 53 years of marriage, brothers ‘Bill’ Brears, Gordon Brears, and ‘Art’ Brears, sister Irene Kaufman and husband Harvey, and his parents Balfour and Emily Brears. A private family funeral service will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Saturday, May 1, at 1:00 p.m. The service will be live-streamed and the link available on the funeral home website.
