Marion McAllister of R.R. #3 Chesley, at Chapman House, Owen Sound on Tuesday, March 23, in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Don. Loving mother of Mike and Bev McGilveary and Brian and Christine McGilveary. Cherished grandmother of Savannah and Jake, Gaven, Cooper and great-grandmother of Cohen. Marion will be dearly missed by her brother Doug and Jayne Fidler, as well as the entire McGilveary and McAllister families. She was predeceased by her first husband Dean McGilveary, brother Dennis Fidler, sisters Betty Pye, Helen Kingston, Linda Kupferschmidt and her parents Arthur and Alvena Fidler. A public visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Sunday, March 28, from 2 – 5 p.m. All are welcome. Visitors attending must wear a mask, and respect physical distancing protocols. A maximum of 25 people will be allowed in the funeral home at any given time. A private funeral service honouring Marion’s life will be held at Geneva Presbyterian Church on Monday, March 29. A recording of the service will be available on the funeral home website Tuesday.
