Donald “Jim” Gaunt, early in the morning of March 23, at Sarnia hospital with Mom, Evelyn his wife of 64 years, by his side. His daughter Janet and Cliff McGuire will miss him dearly, recognizing he is in a better place, passing with dignity & grace. Missy the cat is lost without him. Grandchildren will miss his free advice more than they know. Jeff and Jackie McGuire, Calli Elliott and Dale Cundick, Mike McGuire, Rebecca & Brian Benson. His life was filled with love for his great 7 grandchildren, and special granddaughter Aubrey. Survived by his brother Harley Gaunt and Wendy, and brothers and sisters-in-law, Don Ross, Arnold and Ila Mathers, and Sharon Gaunt. Nieces and Nephews were very special to Donald and always in his thoughts. Predeceased by his parents, John and Agnes Gaunt, sister Jean Ross, brother George Gaunt, mother and father-in-law Melville and Janet Mathers and sister-in-law Joyce Gaunt. At his request, Donald will be cremated, with a private burial in Wingham Cemetery and a celebration of life with music and friends later this summer.
